About Me

An NJ native (though few would guess it or can hear it in my voice), I have spent the last 15 years moving around the Southeast. Most of that time was spent growing and pursuing an education in my field, and luckily, I have enjoyed every bit of it! When I am not working, you can find me playing beach volleyball, planning trips with my wife and newborn daughter, or dividing my attention between my 2 cats and 2 dogs. I also love tabletop board games (the ones that take 5 hours, half of which is an explanation), learning about markets and macroeconomics, hiking, meditating, and trivia nights.

Working With Me

My work is guided by the belief that meaningful change begins with understanding who you are and what matters most to you. Whether through therapy or assessment, I aim to create a collaborative, supportive space where your goals lead the process. I rely on research-based methods as the foundation of my work, but I also draw from a broad range of psychological frameworks and experiential tools to meet each individual’s unique needs.

Who I Work With

For therapy and assessments, I work with adolescents age 16+ as well as adults. While I often conduct joint sessions with the spouses or family members of my clients when requested, I am primarily focused on brief- or long-term individual care.

Historically, I have worked with a range of populations, including veterans, individuals living with chronic and life-limiting medical conditions and their caregivers, members of the LGBTQ+ community, career professionals, and college/graduate students navigating life transitions.

About me

I grew up in Mississippi but spent a significant amount of time in the Northeast before returning to my southern roots for my clinical psychology training, and I couldn't be happier.   On the weekends and outside the office, you can find me hiking with my anxious canine companion, figuring out how to install shelves with my wife in our new home, and learning how to dance. I will also add that I am a big nerd for anything with capes, lasers, or swords!

Working with me

I am well-versed in science-backed therapies for treating anxiety, depression, sleep issues, PTSD, or managing chronic illness. Even though I have robust training in a variety of therapies, I believe in treating the individual, and that means understanding what brought you to the session to develop a personalized treatment plan. We do not always feel in control or like we have a choice when navigating anxiety, depression, or trauma. When working with me, my mission is to shift your mindset from reactive to proactive and help you decide how to use the time that has been given to you.

Who I Work With

I provide telehealth therapy to adults and adolescents. Additionally, I am trained in integrative behavioral couples therapy (IBCT) for individuals interested in couples therapy.

I have experience working with a diverse range of individuals from various backgrounds and beliefs. I provided psychological services for members of the LGBTQ+ community, veterans, and individuals with chronic health conditions. I take a stance of cultural humility, which means you are the expert of your life, and I am here to learn from you to provide the best psychotherapy.

About me

Born and raised in Atlanta, GA, I would describe myself as a curious and compassionate person with a love of people and new experiences. I’ve found that this combination lends itself perfectly to my work, where I have the privilege of walking with others during their diagnostic and self-discovery journey. Outside of the office, I love to explore new restaurants, travel (sometimes via motorcycle), listen to live music, play board games (often with Keith), and spend time with my dog. I’m also an outdoor enthusiast who enjoys backpacking, rock climbing, and hiking.

Working with me

I’ve spent the majority of my educational and professional journey working with and supporting neurodiverse children, adolescents, and young adults across a wide range of support needs and profiles. I have worked in a variety of settings — including day programs for children with significant behavioral challenges, hospital-based inpatient and outpatient treatment centers, and naturalistic social and adaptive learning groups — all of which have shaped my flexible, comprehensive, person-centered, evidence-based, and neurodiversity-affirming approach. I prioritize helping patients and families feel comfortable, understood, and supported during our work together, and I aim for them to leave their assessments with a clearer understanding of their unique strengths and how to leverage them in building the best future possible.

Who I Work With

I provide neurodevelopmental and autism diagnostic assessments for toddlers, preschool age, school-aged children, adolescents, and young adults, ages 18 months to 25 years. I also provide diagnostic re-evaluations to identify patterns of strengths and challenges for the purpose of receiving targeted recommendations to navigate upcoming educational transitions (e.g., entering high school or college).

Although I am not currently offering therapy services, I have extensive training in therapeutic approaches for children with disruptive behavior concerns, individuals with emotion regulation challenges, evidence-based anxiety interventions, social skills development, and solutions-focused approaches to help others achieve their goals.
