Are You Noticing Any of the Following for Your Child?
Difficulty making or keeping friends
Frequent meltdowns or becoming overwhelmed more easily than peers
Strong reactions to sounds, textures, clothing, foods, or busy environments
Trouble with changes in routines, transitions, or unexpected plans
Intense interests or becoming “stuck” on certain topics or activities
Difficulty with back-and-forth conversation or understanding social cues
Holding it together at school but melting down at home
A sense that your child is bright and capable, but every day social or emotional demands seem unusually hard for them
An evaluation can provide clarity, insight, and direction to help your child thrive.
At ALPS, we provide supportive and tailored guidance to put your child on the path to success. You’ll receive:
-
Our reports summarize your child’s relevant history, testing procedures, results, and diagnostic conclusions
-
You’ll leave with a concrete understanding of whether your child’s profile can be explained by an autism diagnosis. We also can assess for other related conditions (ADHD, OCD, anxiety, depression, intellectual disability, learning disability)
-
We assess your child as a whole person and provide a profile of their communication, social, behavior, sensory, attention, executive functioning, and daily living skills
-
These may include:
Early intervention supports (for toddlers and preschoolers)
School accommodation and IEP/504 guidance (for children and teens)
College, workplace, or vocational recommendations (for older teens and adults)
-
These may include recommendations for speech-language services, occupational therapy, behavioral strategies, mental health counseling, or skills-based interventions
-
We want to support your ability as a parent to build communication, emotion regulation, and independence skills
